Lesson from a Rags-to-Riches Billionaire

These are some lessons i learnt from America’s rags-to-riches billionaire Bill Bartmann in his "Steps to achieve any goal".
Bill went from staunch poverty to being a gangster to being paralysed to finding purpose,
marrying the girl of his dreams and becoming a billionaire on Forbes 1000 list.
I have been so inspired that i have listened to him over twenty times in 2 days.
POINT 1
Make sure your goal is YOUR GOAL - if what you are doing right now is not what you want to do, and then you will never succeed.
No matter how hard you try. What do you really want? Why are you after it? Why it is important to you and what do you really want to achieve?
Anything you do that is genuinely what you want to do is ABSOLUTELY backed up GOD - the DIVINE SOURCE OF ALL THINGS. This is because you were created in his image - after HIS Likeness
POINT 2
Don't try, strive, and attempt to achieve your goals. Most people don't achieve the goals they set. Replace Goals with the word Promise. This changes your mindset. It removes the block in your brain. The change in semantics also change the way you look at things, you want to keep your promise, you feel you can. It removes every thought of struggling to get things done.
POINT 3
Be clear about your promise. Clarity of your promise makes it easier to achieve. Ambiguity is in a way no focus
POINT 4
Identify your personal motivator. It can be negative or positive. When you have something that would keep you on fire and drive your passion, you will achieve any dream. We are either trying to move towards pleasure or away from pain. All things work together for your good
Identify the thing that will motivate you the most - for family, friends or the promise of a better life or even if is to show someone that doesn't believe you can. Use positive or negative motivation to get you to achieve your promise.
POINT 5
Create a promise plan - the equivalent of a business plan for your promise answering the questions:
- What?
- When?
- Who?
- Where?
- How?
POINT 6
Review plans regularly - 20 minutes a day making sure you sit down and review the 5 questions. See if anything new has surfaced or changed
Your brain begins to update and fine tune your promise. Find out new ways to remind yourself of the promise.
Carry a pocket promise - a summary of your promise

Some 2008 Thoughts
Partially in Charge
You have NO control over certain things that happen or unexpected occurrences that manifest in your life. But you can take CHARGE of them before they do and lead those to you suit what you have been divinely wired to do. We have ALL the power of determine how we react to things that present themselves in our lives - which is good but LEADING THE SITUATION means being proactive to situations that occur in our lives. This means thinking ahead, visualizing the possible scenarios and taking advantage of them in the wisest and most productive way possible even before they occur.
No one deserves to lead another until he is a master of his self. Self mastery is a lost trait in this age. Charisma seems to the in thing. It is now all about the outward – the without but all through the ages the most powerful leaders were not those that held military powers or initially held offices but those who first of all mastered themselves –Jesus Christ, Mahatma Ghandi, Nelson Mandela. This single act led to a demand for them to take public offices.
OUR UNIVERSE
God is the maker of all things – seen and unseen. In him all things exists. Without him was not anything made that was made. We live in a universe that is all encompassing. It is made of energy. It keeps expanding every second. In the universes are billions of galaxies; in the galaxies are billions of solar systems; each solar system has its own planets, meteors and moons; within each planet are the physically visible but not necessarily physical beings like us and at the microscopic levels are the atoms and electrons and in the nano realm is nothing but energy vibrating.
ORDER
We live in a planet that is based on order. Even at a microscopic level, things that we consider random are highly orderly activities. At the subatomic level, order exists there also. The order here is even similar to the arrangement of our solar system. The planets are so orderly in their movements that scientists have calculated the equations that accurately describe their movement in orbit.
If we live in such an orderly season universe, it is safe to conclude that if we are out of alignment with order I n our lives, we cannot live fully productive lives.
Order is different from routine. Your routine is your habit – the things you do regularly. Order depicts a higher ideal. It is related to a hierarchy. It is encompassing. Everything in the universe is in order and to be out of sync is to be breaking ranks.
DISCPLINE
Military might is based on order and the discipline to carry them out or follow them. Anything outside is treachery.
Leading any situation is based on the discipline of self. You have to be able train yourself in the art of stillness.

ROI
Investment. It means quite a lot to someone
who’s an investor because it signifies reward for
risk taking and how fast you’d get your money
back.
Nice!
The Nigerian Stock market isn't doing too well
now though! it's been all BEARS.
In the context of this writing however, ROI means
Remember Observe Imagine. Those are the three
things we do a lot of the time and they determine
our reality.
There is one thing I am so pleased to broadcast to
the world; YOU CAN DETERMINE YOUR REALITY!
The Book of Proverbs says “...as he thinks in his
heart so is he!”
You are a sum total of all your thoughts – Good,
bad, ugly, boring, whatever. Every thought has a
frequency at which it vibrates.
You have to wake up to the fact that you have the
ability to direct your own thoughts; you have the
option of observing things as they are, or of
imagining them as you want them to be—and
whichever option you choose, whether you are
imagining or observing, is equally powerful. You
have the option of remembering something as it
actually occurred or imagining it as you would
prefer. You have the option of remembering
something that pleased you or remembering
something that did not please you. You have the
option of anticipating something you want or
anticipating something you do not want. In every
case, your thoughts produce a vibration within
you that equals your point of attraction, and then
circumstances and events line up to match the
vibrations that you have offered.
You have the ability to place your attention
wherever you decide, so it is possible to distract
yourself from something unwanted and put your
attention upon something wanted. But when a
vibration within you is one you have practiced a
great deal, the tendency is to continue to offer the
vibration in the way you have been practicing it
—no matter how much you wish it to be different.
It is not a difficult thing to change the pattern of
your thought/vibration, especially when you
understand that you can do it a little bit at a time.
Once you have an understanding of how
vibrations work, how they affect your experience,
and, most important, what your emotions are
telling you about your vibrations, now you can
make steady, fast progress toward the achievement
of anything that you desire.
Our universe is fascinating and forever expanding.
This means there are various unending possibilities.
Various varieties (pardon my tautology) therefore
establish this order:
· Variety causes contemplation.
• Contemplation produces preference.
• Preference is asking.
• Asking is always answered.
Regarding your creation of your own life
experience, there really is only one important
question for you to ask: How can I bring
myself into vibrational alignment with the
desires that my experience has produced?
And the answer is simple: Pay attention to
the way you feel, and deliberately choose
thoughts—about everything—that feel good
to you when you think them.
There is a way you can always find joy. It
is by following your bliss!!
Check out these words. They are synonyms
of the beautiful word BLISS.
Joy; Elation ; Happiness; Seventh heaven;
Cloud nine; Ecstasy; Delight; Pleasure;
Harmony; Rapture; Thrill; Excitement;
Euphoria; Exhilaration; Paradise; Electrify.
Pure Bliss!
No better guidance has ever been offered to
us humans than the words “Follow your bliss,”
for in the steady reaching for bliss, you must
surely align with the Energy of your Source - God.
And in that constant alignment, your Well-Being
is certain.
There are things that you think about that makes
you be in a temporary state of bliss. These are the
things that you should pursue as long as they do
not prevent a fellow human being to live his/her
own life to the fullest.
When you’re in this state of pure joy, time seems
to temporarily freeze and your emotions are let
loose. Your emotions are to be used as guides.
If you feel bad, then change what you’re thinking
to a joyous one. If you’re feeling good, continue
thinking those thoughts.
• By always reaching for the thoughts/ feeling of
joy, or Well-Being, you would always be moving
toward that which you desire.
• In the process of moving toward your desires,
you would experience joy.
So in essence, it is an unending cycle once you set
it rolling and don’t allow negative thoughts in.

Will We Give Birth?
The 16th day of the first month is almost gone already!
It struck me some days ago that 2009 and i (as well as
everyone else) have something major in common.
WE'RE BOTH PREGNANT.
You and I with all our goals for the year and 2009,
with 365 days!
AND
It has given birth to the 16th day already!!
Obviously, the year seems to be an aggressive go getter.
One thing is certain as the earth remains, the year will
always deliver her 365 or 366 days as the case may be.
it won't say with regret on the 1st of January, 2010:
'I wish i had...'.
This is simply because it is focused on just
one thing - delivering 365 days!
i begin to converse with myself;
- will i?
- what is the 1 ThING i am focusing on this year?
- what's my plan to achieve it?
- how's the plan broken down into daily chunks ?
- How do I measure my performance?
I'm on track. Being on track ain't enough.
I must maintain focus and dumped everthing else
I must stick to the plan. I must achieve my aim.....
Just like the year does yearly.
So help me GOD.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNT THIS YEAR SO FAR...
Omega, and I am the living One."
In the timeless realm where God dwells, which is also
your home, the beginning and the end, the Alpha
and the Omega, are one, and the essence of
everything that ever has been and ever will be
is eternally present in an unmanifested state of
oneness and perfection - totally beyond anything
the human mind can ever imagine or comprehend.
In our world of seemingly separate forms, however,
timeless perfection is an inconceivable concept.
There is a vertical dimension of the timeless now and a
horizontal dimension of time and space. This later
dimension is an illusory plane where your past and
future lies because really, there is no past or future.
ALL THERE IS, IS NOW.
Now is what will always be. Today is the tomorrow
you talked about yesterday!
Remember the poem that goes like this:
The past is history
The future is a mystery
Today is a gift
That is why it is called the PRESENT
Ask yourself these questions:
Does the past take up a great deal of your attention?
Do you frequently talk and think about it, either positively
or negatively? The great things that you have achieved,
your adventures or experiences, or your victim story and
the dreadful things that were done to you or maybe what
you did to someone else?
Are your thought processes creating guilt, pride, resentment,
anger, regret, or self-pity?
If the answer is yes then you’re not only reinforcing
a false sense of self but also helping to accelerate your
body's aging process by creating an accumulation of
past in your psyche. Verify this for yourself by
observing those around you who have a strong
tendency to hold on to the past.
Die to the past every moment.
You don’t need it. Only refer to it when it is absolutely
relevant to the present. Feel the power of this moment
and the fullness of being. Feel your presence.
Are you worried?
Do you have many "what if" thoughts?
If the answer is also yes then you are identifying
with your mind, which is projecting itself into an
imaginary future situation and creating fear.
There is no way that you can cope with such a
situation, because it doesn't exist. It's a mental
phantom. You can stop this health- and life-corroding
insanity simply by acknowledging the present
moment. Become aware of your breathing. Feel the
air flowing in and out of your body. Feel your inner
energy field. All that you ever have to deal with, cope
with, in real life - as opposed to imaginary mind
projections – is this moment. Ask yourself what
"problem' you have right now, not next year,
tomorrow, or five minutes from now. What is wrong
with this moment? You can always cope with the Now,
but you can never cope with the future -nor do you
have to. The answer, the strength, the right action or
the resource will be there when you need it, not
before, not after.
"One day I'll make it." Is your goal taking up so much
of your attention that you reduce the present moment
to a means to an end? Is it taking the joy out of your
doing? Are you waiting to start living? If you develop
such a mind pattern, no matter what you achieve or get,
the present will never be good enough; the future will
always seem better. A perfect recipe for permanent
dissatisfaction and nonfulfillment, don' t you agree?
Are you a habitual "waiter"? How much of your life do
you spend waiting? What I call "small-scale waiting" is
waiting in line at the post office, in a traffic jam, at the
airport, or waiting for someone to arrive, to finish work,
and so on. "Large-scale waiting" is waiting for the next
vacation, for a better job, for the children to grow up,
for a truly meaningful relationship, for success, to
make money, to be important, to become enlightened.
It is not uncommon for people to spend their whole life
waiting to start living.
Waiting is a state of mind. Basically, it means that you
want the future; you don't want the present. You don't
want what you've got, and you want what you haven't
got. With every kind of waiting, you unconsciously create
inner conflict between your here and now, where you
don't want to be, and the projected future, where you
want to be. This greatly reduces the quality of your life
by making you lose the present.
There is nothing wrong with striving to improve your life
situation. You can improve your life situation, but you
cannot improve your life. Life is primary. Life is your
deepest inner Being. It is already whole, complete, perfect.
Your life situation consists of your circumstances and
your experiences. There is nothing wrong with setting
goals and striving to achieve things. The mistake lies in
using it as a substitute for the feeling of life, for Being.
The only point of access for that is the Now. You are
then like an architect who pays no attention to the
foundation of a building but spends a lot of time
working on the superstructure.
For example, many people are waiting for prosperity.
It cannot come in the future. When you honor,
acknowledge, and fully accept your present reality -
where you are, who you are, what you are doing right
now - when you fully accept what you have got, you
are grateful for what you have got, grateful for what
is, grateful for Being. Gratitude for the present
moment and the fullness of life now is true prosperity.
It cannot come in the future. Then, in time, that
prosperity manifests for you in various ways.
If you are dissatisfied with what you have got, or
even frustrated or angry about your present lack,
that may motivate you to become rich, but even if
you do make millions, you will continue to experience
the inner condition of lack, and deep down you will
continue to feel unfulfilled.
You may have many exciting experiences that money
can buy, but they will come and go and always leave
you with an empty feeling and the need for further
physical or psychological gratification. You won't abide
in Being and so feel the fullness of life now that alone is
true prosperity. So give up waiting as a state of mind.
When you catch yourself slipping into waiting ... snap
out of it. Come into the present moment. Just be, and
enjoy being. If you are present, there is never any need
for you to wait for anything. So next time somebody
says, "Sorry to have kept you waiting," you can reply,
"That's all right, I wasn't waiting.
I was just standing here enjoying myself - in joy in myself."
These are just a few of the habitual mind strategies
for denying the present moment that are part of ordinary
unconsciousness. They are easy to overlook because they
are so much a part of normal living: the background static
of perpetual discontent. But the more you practice
monitoring your inner mental-emotional state, the easier
it will be to know when you have been trapped in past or
future, which is to say unconscious, and to awaken out of
the dream of time into the present. But beware: The
false, unhappy self, based on mind identification, lives
on time. It knows that the present moment is its own
death and so feels very threatened by it. It will do all it
can to take you out of it. It will try to keep you trapped
in time.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

But then prayers alone will not make our dreams come to
pass.
We have to work HARD!
Besides, Faith without works is dead. DEAD!!
Our work is proof that we believe we'd achieve our set Goal.
Yes, GOAL; not the plural.
We need to choose the MAIN thing. Just THAT ONE thing and
then build all other goals round it. That way, all what is built
around the core thing are complementary. Having more than
one core desire is similar to a dog chasing two cats; he ends up
catching neither!
For me, my Chief aim this year, I have set and I'm going to give
it my best shot. it involves a major LIFE CHANGE.
I heard Fela Durotoye say this on the 1st of this year :
Change your life and your lifestyle will chage
Change your lifestyle and your life will change.
Remember: ONE CHIEF GOAL.
Every other thing has to complement it, otherwise they have to
be sacrificed.
Progress in Life is based on the law of exchange. You give what you
have now to get to the next level; otherwise, remain there.
I wish you a successful 2009 but please do not neglect this words.
May this Year be trully golden like the Orange you saw before
reading this!

How To Deal With Difficult People ...

Have you ever met people who criticize or blame you,
even for the smallest reasons? Sure you have!!
They’re the ones who always find faults in whatever
you do, but never acknowledges any good deeds
you’ve done. If you’ve ever wanted to know how to
deal with difficult people, then this article will prove
to be priceless. To know how to deal with difficult
people, you must understand their behavior. They
have big egos that need to be satisfied; and they hate
it when they get humiliated. So even if you’re tempted,
never do things that will damage their self-esteem.
Here’s how to deal with difficult people who like to
play the “blame” game.
If they blame you, never retaliate; simply admit your
mistake.
Be humble.
Being defensive would only make your assailant more
aggressive in taunting you. Tell them you’re sorry. But
saying “sorry” is not enough. Tell them exactly what
you’re sorry for, and what exactly you’re going to do in
the future to avoid committing the same error.
For example, say:“I’m sorry for being late at the meeting.
Next time, I’ll schedule ahead of time to make sure that I’ll
never be delayed.”
Now here’s how to deal with difficult people if they
continue to blame you. Tell them subtly that their actions
will never improve the situation; it will only make matters
worse because of the wasted time and energy. Then
propose to come up with a solution that will solve the
current problem. Say something like: “I know that my
tardiness has caused us to lose big money in this project,
and I’m really sorry. We’re only making things worse if
we focus on the consequences of what happened. Tell you
what…I’ll do my best to resolve this concern and ensure it
will never happen again.”
If you can quickly think of a solution, let them know
about it immediately so they’ll realize how serious you
are in improving the situation. If you can’t come up with
a solution, at least make them aware that you did your
best.Learning how to deal with difficult people doesn’t
take rocket science. Just say sorry, then tell them what
you’re sorry for and your proposed action to avoid the
same mistake from being made again.
If they go on blaming, make them realize that their action
will only make matters worse. Then exert all efforts to think
of an ideal solution to ease the current situation. By
applying these steps, converting difficult people to friends
is as easy as pie.

Can You Attract Money With Self-Written Cheque?
use to attract money. It is a method which you write the
amount of money you desire on a cheque and look at it
everyday.
Will it work? Can you really attract money by
using this fake cheque?I believe if you read or participated
in seminars about millionaire mindset or rich education,
you will come across this method. Although it is commonly
used by most successful people, no one can give a logical
or good explain about this method. What’s the science
behind it? I’m going to share with you what I know about
this method:One of the toughest challenges by everyone
who desire to be success is “To believe they can be
successful everyday until the day that they finally made
it”. It’s an extremely challenging journey if you have ever
pursued a dream.
When we are on our way to achieve our dreams, our
mind will doubt that if we can make it. It’s normal
and everyone who is success will go through it. Some of
us might doubt it everyday and some of us might
doubt it every hour. This drives us crazy and some of us
might even decide to give up because it’s challenging. The
bigger your dream, the stronger the doubt will be.
9 out of 10 people gave up not because they
failed but because they don’t believe that
they will make it.
This self-written cheque can support and give you power
when you doubt yourself. It strengthens your belief.
Whenever you doubt yourself, the check tells your mind
that you already made it and you will make it.Another biggest
challenge most successful people will face is the change of
mood. To succeed, you need lots of discipline. You can’t do
things when you feel like doing and you can’t do things that
you only like doing. ‘Mood’ is something disastrous when you
cannot handle it properly. Some people fail in pursuing
their dream because they stop doing what they should
do when they face some failures.
A self-written cheque will give you excitement. Whenever you
failed or face any challenges, look at the check and think that
it’s a real cheque for you. You’ll feel excited and stop feeling bad.
You can move on faster and not stuck in sticky situations.
To succeed, you need to keep yourself excited and give
excitement to your team, customers and everyone
around you. If everyone are excited to work with you,
you’ll be successful easier and faster! If you believe in
the law of attraction, you will also understand the power
of a self-written cheque. This method has way too many
benefits and all it takes is just 1 minute to write one. Start
using this method and I’m sure you’ll see amazing results!

How To Be Happy
happy are hiding? Not at all. They just have a way
of turning negative into positive.
Below are a few ways you to can start bringing more
happiness and less negativity into your life.
*Take care of yourself physically. It's much easier to
be optimistic when you are eating well, exercising, and
getting enough rest.
*Be thankful. Stresses and challenges don't seem as
terrible when you remind yourself of the things that
are right in life.
* Don't Assume. Don't waste time worrying that you
did something incorrect unless you have evidence that
there is something to worry about.
* Don't use absolutes. Thinking and talking in absolutes
like 'always' and 'never' makes the situation appear worse
than it is.
*Think positively. Your thoughts can't hold any power
over you if you don't judge them. If you notice yourself
having a negative thought, detach from it, witness it,
and don't follow it.
*Get and give hugs. Positive physical contact with friends,
loved ones, and even pets, is an instant pick-me-up.
*Increase your social activity. Surround yourself with
healthy, happy people, and their positive energy will affect
you in a positive way!
*Volunteer. Everyone feels good after helping. You can
volunteer your time, your money,or your resources. The
more positive energy you put out into the world, the more
you will receive in return.
*Don't dwell on the negative. It's never productive, because
it's not rational or solution-oriented; it's just excessive worry.
Try changing your physical environment - go for a walk or sit
outside. You could also call a friend, pick up a book, or turn
on some music. Practice does indeed make perfect. Before
long, the above traits will become automatic. You will look
back and realize how far you have come. You will have
become one of the ones people look to for the "secret" of
happiness.

Meditate
Let us daily keep in silence a meditation hour
For to understand God's greatness and to use His Gifts everyday
The soul must learn to meet Him in a meditative way
For our father tells is Children that if they would know His Will,
They must seek Him in silence when all is calm and still
For Nature's greatest forces are found in quiet things
Like softly falling snowflakes drifting down on Angel's wings
Or petalsdropping soundlessly from a lovely full-blown rose
So God comes closest to us when our souls are in repose
So let us plan with prayerful care to always allocate
A certain portion of each day to be still and meditate
For when everything is quiet and we're lost in meditation
Our soul is then preparing for a deeper dedication
That will make it wholly possible to quietly endure
The violent world aorund us
FOR IN GOD WE ARE SECURE

Have u failed?
again and failed again? Well, try again, and again,
and again!
Don't Quit!
Almost everyone knows the story of Thomas Edison who
refused to quit. He tried about ten thousand items before
he got the light bulb to work. I think we're all glad that he
didn't quit, especially if you are reading this article on
your computer!
Some might say, "Oh, sure, Thomas Edison. You know,
he was a brilliant inventor." It may be true that he was
a brilliant inventor, but the fact remains that he was not
a quitter! And that's the point.
Countless stories tell the tales of men and women who
just refused to quit, refused to give up, and refused to
give in. Each disappointment was just another step
closer to victory. That's how they looked at it. But sadly,
far too many people look at a set back or a disappointment
as a failure, and then they just quit. They abandon their
dreams, they discard their goals, they put their plans in
a drawer and just quit!
Thomas Edison once said, "Many of life's failures are
people who did not realize how close they were to success
when they gave up. Our greatest weakness lies in giving up.
The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one
more time. I am not discouraged, because every wrong
attempt discarded is another step forward. I have not failed.
I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."
That's a great attitude, isn't it? It really is, because
quitting is a choice, just as trying again is a choice.
Having a positive attitude is a choice, just as having a
negative attitude is a choice. Having and maintaining a
positive attitude, regardless of the situations and
circumstances, will keep you on the road to success.
On the other hand a negative, defeated attitude, will most
certainly keep you from having the success that you desire.
Sometimes, you may have the best of intentions to
maintain a positive attitude, but then you allow the
opinions of others to talk you out of your dreams.
You've probably noticed how often people try to talk
you out of your dreams. They are so quick to tell you
that you can't, instead of encouraging you and telling
you that you can.
Regardless of what others say or think, it is really up to
you to tell yourself that you can. It is up to you to refuse
to quit, refusing to give up on your dreams. The Bible
promises that if you acknowledge God in all your ways He
will direct your path. That's quite a promise!
Regardless of how you feel, regardless of what others are
saying, regardless of how many times you have failed,
keep asking for His help and direction, keep seeking, and
refuse to quit.
A very helpful method is to have a clear picture in your
mind of where you want to go and what you want to do.
Don't dwell on where you are now. Instead, see yourself
where you want to be.
You can be successful in whatever category of life that you
want to be. It all depends on how you see the situation. Is
you focus on your present situation, or is it on what lies
ahead? Do you see set backs as the end of the road, or, as
just another step closer to success and victory? After a
mistake do you say, "That's it? This doesn't work, I'm
quitting?" Or, do you say, "I am going to figure this out
and I will be successful."
Your goals and your dreams are yours. Whether or not
anyone else cares about them or encourages you, they are
yours, and they are important. And, God is very concerned
about your happiness and fulfillment.
If you refuse to quit you cannot fail. God is not in the failure
business; He is in the success business. With His help and
direction, you can be successful in every category of life.
Every day the choice is yours, so don't choose to quit!

Transforming your life with the power of books
recently and he told a story that reminded me of Bob
Proctor's "333 Story" from his international bestseller
"You Were Born Rich". In summary, the "333 Story" is a
great example of what you can achieve when you make a
firm decision and remain open to possibilities rather than
focus on obstacles.
Jack Canfield recounted that while he was in Atlanta
promoting his book, "Success Principles: How to get from
where you are to where you want to be", that he was
interviewed by a woman who said his publisher had sent
her two copies of his book.
She read one and gave the second copy to her brother
who had been unemployed for three years.
He was depressed and refused to venture out.
Well three weeks later her brother had finished the book.
He shaved, put on a suit and attended three job interviews.
Just three days later he was offered a job. Just writing about this
gives me goose bumps. Books indeed have the power to transform
your life.
It was novelist, journalist and poet, Christopher Morley who said:
"When you give someone a book, you don't give him just paper, ink,
and glue. You give him the possibility of a whole new life."
This man had certainly been given a new lease on life when he was
given the gift of "Success Principles".
It can be argued that one book has single-handedly transformed
the world of personal development. Someone gave a little
green book to Lloyd Conant who spent an entire weekend
reading and rereading its contents. On Monday morning he
decided that he would build a world-class corporation and
that is exactly what he did. Nightingale-Conant is a giant in the
field of personal development. The company is recognised around
the world for the quality of its training programs and all the leaders
in the field of personal and business development, marketing and
sales training, spiritual growth and wealth building aspire to have
their resources distributed by Nightingale-Conant.
One evening, Lloyd Conant told Bob Proctor and Harold Gash,
two of his "top lieutenants", about the little green book. Proctor
was just itching to discover the name of the book and more
importantly what was written in the pages of this book that has
had directed Lloyd Conant to his true purpose in life - to put the
inspirational and educational recordings of Earl Nightingale in every
home around the world. The book was "The Science of Getting Rich"
and, though its text is outdated by our twenty-first century standards,
it continues to fascinate and inspire a new army of transformational
leaders.
Bob Proctor says of "The Science of Getting Rich" that
"The contents of this book have served as the foundation
for every personal development program I have written for
the past quarter century."
In fact, Bob Proctor used this book as the basis of his
"Science of Getting Rich" seminar - a powerful seminar that
has helped thousands of people across the world better
understand, and apply with outstanding results, the process
of wealth creation.
The little green book inspired Rhonda Byrne to create
and produce the movie "The Secret" - a movie which
I recently heard described as a blockbuster. That made
me smile for this movie does not feature the likes of Bruce
Willis, Halle Berry, Samuel L Jackson, Brad Pitt,
Angelina Jolie, Matt Damon or George Clooney. There are
no breath-taking action scenes, suspenseful car chases or
even elaborate sets.
Instead, the movie features the likes of Bob Proctor,
Loral Langemeier, Rev. Michael Beckwith, Jack Canfield,
Lisa Nichols, Dr Joe Vitale and Bob Doyle among others.
The film stars teachers, philosophers, finance experts,
psychologists, physicists and authors. Bizarre, isn't it? But
when you understand the spirit in which this film was made
it really is no surprise that it has been as successful as it has
been and, more importantly, the power of this movie to
transform lives across the globe.
"As you learn The Secret you will come to know how you can
have, be or do anything you want. You will come to know who
you really are. You will come to know the true magnificence
that awaits you in life."
I'm sure you can recall a book, perhaps even given to you by
a friend or loved one, that made a significant impact on your
life. I urge you therefore, to continuing reading inspirational
books and to give someone you care about the gift of a great book.
(I have Rhonda Byrne to thank for this article)
MY COMMENTS:
Historically, the greatest life transfroming book is the HOLY
BIBLE and not just that, it is also the bestseller of all time.
I am an avid reader and believe me when i say most books
are based on biblical principles. My suggestion? Just go directly
to the SOURCE of KNOWLEDGE,UNDERSTANDING and
WISDOM!!

Investing in your personal growth and development
Investing in your personal growth and development is one
of the most powerful ways to produce results in your life.
You may have a specific area of your life that you are not
satisfied with and would like to change; such as your finances,
confidence level, health, career, relationships. What I mean
by growing yourself is taking personal development seminars,
courses, workshops, working with a coach, or joining a mastermind
group anything that focuses on learning about you. It is powerful
taking on the journey of wanting to know more about yourself
and what stops you and gets in your way.
When you do not invest in your own personal growth and
development you keep producing the same results in your life.
Little change and it feels like you are banging your head up
against the wall. You are clueless about what to do and how to
change because the mind that created your problems can not
fix them. Once you take on the task of learning about yourself
you discover new possibilities for solving your problems and
many times they simply disappear.
When you commit to growing and expanding as a person your life
grows and expands as result, there is no way around it. Also
when you grow the people around you grow too and are affected
by your growth. When you experience breakthroughs and
produce amazing results the people around you do too. Every
time I take a seminar or workshop and have a breakthrough
my clients and the people in my life also have breakthroughs
and produce results in their life. If you see growing yourself as
a duty for yourself and for the people in your life it makes your
commitment so much more meaningful. You know that your
growth will have an impact on the lives of others. It always
excites me when I finish a seminar and I get to witness
miraculous things happening in the lives of people around me.
You may be resistant to taking personal development courses
and seminar because you have some concerns about personal
growth and self-help. I can understand because I had some
concerns too at one time. Maybe you fear by taking a personal
development seminar or hiring a coach you are admitting you
have problems or are one of those self-help people? I used to
be so cut off from taking workshops and seminars because I
felt like it was admitting that I had problems or there was
something wrong with me. But what I realized is that we all
have problems, life is full of problems and learning how to
deal with problems powerfully and effectively is not something
to be ashamed of.
It takes courage, commitment, and being open minded to do
personal development work. Every time I take a course and
work with my coach I feel empowered and less like a victim
of the circumstances in my life. I feel excitement and passion
about my life. Before I used to dread life and dealing with
problems. I avoided problems and wished they would go away
but all they did was grow bigger. Now the problems I have do
not scare me because I know I can handle them and I also have
a support system of people who help me when I am stuck and
blocked. Now I embrace a challenge and look forward to the
opportunity to grow. It is a completely different way of
approaching life. I choose to play at the game of life instead
of running from it or being a spectator.
From my experience of becoming open to growing and
expanding myself I also saw that I was stingy and not sharing
with the people in my life about the personal work I was doing.
I did not want to tell people because I was concerned about how
they would react and feared they would judge me. I have heard
things like "you paid for that?" "I could have told you that." So
I kept a lot of what I was doing to myself. But as time went on
people would ask me what I was doing? My enthusiasm for life
excites other people and they want that for themselves. Now I
share openly and honestly about what I am up to and what I
use to help me grow as a person.
My commitment to grow and expand personally has been the
driving force in creating my life the way it is now. I acknowledge
that I can not grow on my own and that I need the support of
others. I accept that in order to produce effective, extraordinary,
immediate results in my life I need to grow and expand myself
by taking classes, working with service providers, reading books,
and being a life time student in getting to know me. I also
became comfortable with saying I do not know what to do and
I need help. I know I want to produce a specific result in this
area of my life and I am willing to learn what I need to in order
to succeed.
There are so many great programs and services out there that
can alter your life and help you create magnificent results. Are
you willing to invest in yourself? Are you open to seeing what
you may have done to cause your life the way it is and find a
new way? I have never regretted investing in my growth and
development becuase I always get something out of it. I also
accept that this is a life long process and one weekend or one
book can not change my life forever. As I change I need
services and support that can help me handle the new
changes and continue to grow. - Adapted
Your assignment:
Think about an area of your life where you would do anything
to change or improve it. Then start looking around for personal
growth services that focus on producing results in that area of
your life. If you do not know where to start, ask people you
know what personal growth and development work they
have done. Ask them what they recommend. When you
find a seminar or class that really excites and inspires you
take a leap of faith and sign up.

Nine Career Building Blocks for Success
your first position, or you’ve been on the job for
awhile, you ask yourself what additional qualities
do I need to help my career? You’ve started a
business and you ask yourself the same question?
What learnable skills are essential for career and
business success? In study after study, and surveys
taken with many executives and successful business
owners the following nine learnable skills and abilities
are the most valued. Even without specific education
or experience these learnable skills will contribute
greatly to your ongoing performance and career
advancement.
The critical nine career building skills and abilities
are: (In no particular order, as each job or business
has its own set of priorities.)
1. Selling Skills
To get people to buy your ideas, services or products
is a quick definition of the selling skill. If you have a job,
you've managed to make at least one sale -- that of
your services to an employer. Business does not happen
without sales. Selling skills are part of the skill category
of Negotiation, which is listed among the nine top skills.
It's so important, before you do anything, you should
read and study one or more of the best books on sales.
2. Writing Skills
Others want to know what you know. So, you to write
it down for them. You have to write it succinctly,
precisely and in a way that is easily understood. You
need to provide them instructive, believable, and
motivational and convincing written material. It should
communicate what you know and what you can do. You
no doubt, definitely, without a question, must be able to
write effectively to get to the peak of your career or
business.
3. Speaking Skills
You must be able to speak up for yourself and your
department at meetings. Getting a pet project or a
budget approved means speaking well and persuasively.
Running effective meetings, interviewing and even
arguing for a raise require good speaking skills. You certainly
must speak well at least one-to-one in order to sell anything.
All of the foregoing requires the same skills as public speaking.
You can learn the skills from a book or class and through
practice. Joining a local Toastmasters club is probably the
easiest way to become comfortable speaking to an audience of
any size, whether it’s to one or one thousand.
4. Leadership Skills
Leadership is the ability to get people to do what you
want them to do. If you are a good leader, people will
do what you've asked them to do, whether or not you
are there to supervise. If you are a great leader, they
will do what you've asked, strive to do it well, enjoy
working for you and try to do more than you've asked,
just to please you. If you are inspired leader, they will do
what you ask, try to contribute as much more as you will
allow, make sure that whatever they do is the highest
quality they can give you, and consider their work not
merely enjoyable, but rather a shared vision partnership
with you. Leadership includes the skills of motivation,
change facilitation, behavior modification and conflict management.
5. Judgment Skills
Good judgment is one of the most valued abilities.
Making accurate evaluations, outlining possible options
and then making a sensible choice is a valuable commodity.
Choices, regarding people, are especially prized. It is the
ability to develop informed opinions. The development of critical
thinking skills, and the careful laying out of options all go
toward building this skill. Carefully examining all the options,
even with less than 100% of the desired information, will more
often than not allow you to make a “good judgment.”
6. Organizational Skills
The management of time. The management of people.
The management of the processes. All organized so that
everything is efficiently accomplished with the least amount
of time and overall cost. A skilled organizer starts with their
own time management and branches out to include subordinates
and other things within their control.
7. Negotiation Skills
Negotiation is the basic ability to persuade others to do what
you want or give you what you want. These talents are closely
related to selling skills and to motivation. Further, they are an
essential component to leadership. You can study and learn
from any number of books the essential skills that will help you
get others to cooperate with you in achieving your mutual goals.
Those who apply this skill successfully on behalf of their
employers and themselves almost always get ahead of their
peers-usually way ahead.
8. Financial Skills
When you get into a management position you must know
about financial planning and budgeting. To move higher, you
must be knowledgeable about all aspects of corporate finance,
cash flow, taxes, return on investment, asset valuation and
valuing mergers and acquisitions are just some of financial skills
you must acquire. However, there's plenty of easy to
understand information in books and seminars as well as
relevant trade journals that will give you a hand.
9. Information Gathering and Technology Skills
This essential skill includes finding the best news, articles,
books, tapes, videos, training and other written and multiple
media sources that keep you current and "in the know" in
your field of expertise. You should also develop and cultivate
access to experts who can assist or direct you to the right
information. A wide network of experts will speedup your
ability to gather information. Storing the information you
acquire, making it easy to access and add to it easily is another
skill you need to acquire. At a minimum you should be able to
make and use databases, to learn and use basic research skills
and to be able to do quick, effective internet searches. You will
not get ahead without knowing how to use all the current
technology relevant to business in general and to your field in
particular. You will not get ahead without it. At a minimum,
you must acquire basic computer user skills. Also if you make
any sorts of presentations, for example, you need to know how
to use projectors, projected video, audio amplification systems,
computer-assisted training programs and computer projected
multimedia.
The nine career building skills all require an analysis
as to where you are now. Need to improve your writing ability?
Start with a plan and do something every day to advance the
skill. Do the same with all of the nine. Build and work a reading
and studying list and in no time you’ll find your career skills
improving.

6 Things Every Successful Business Owner Realizes
business techniques, no matter what is the business or
the industry.
They all start with the same knowledge, wherever it was
learned. Remember these basics and keep them first and
foremost in your mind; they will apply to any business you
start.
1.To Thy Own Self Be True
To be successful in business, you must be very
self-aware. Many people really don't know their
strengths and weaknesses, or don't plan to take
advantage of strengths and minimize weaknesses.
Consider your strengths and weaknesses honestly,
and write them down. Discover ways to ameliorate your
weaknesses, but don't devote all your time to them.
Place your efforts into things you are good at. Build your
strengths, don't fix your weaknesses, as it is put by the
Gallup Organization in "Now Discover Your Strengths," this
can put you on the path to success.
2.Customers Are Your Main Priority
In every successful business customers come first. If you
forget the importance of the customers, you'll risk the stale
state of mediocrity among your competition. However you
label them - customers, clients, or consumers, must be at the
center of all you do. (remember yesterday's story of the 2
doctors?) Beware, don't just pretend to care, because they
can detect a phony at a distance Make sure to understand
the world as seen by your customers. Ask questions, and
take the time to listen to their answers. And be sure to read
between the lines and listen to what they’re NOT saying.
Pay close attention to nonverbal cues, including body language.
The more effort you put into getting to know your customer,
the more your business will succeed.
3.Relationships Reign Above All
Businesses have never succeeded without networking.
Begin to build relations ships with important people,
whether they be colleagues, experts or mentors, it will
pay off in the end. In a stable environment, a good network
helps your business grow; in uncertain times, the support
of a network helps your business stay on track.
4.Expect Change
We cannot expect things to remain the same. Business's
are much like the human body; they grow, develop, mature,
and transform. Expect and welcome that change it when it
comes. Being aware of potential unexpected events will help
you cope with set backs without sacrificing your sanity. Running
a successful business will take flexibility--straying away from a
set strategy is often necessary to avoid losses. Don't sweat
the details, they most likely will change; try and envision all
the possible outcomes so they do not blind side you. Analyze
your options, and embrace the situation as an opportunity to
overcome by simply taking a deep breath.
5.Keep Progressing
Businesses and those people that own them never cease in
movement. From small day to day actions to major decisions,
a thriving organization is marked by productivity. Think about
how to be more productive and that will then increase your
sales and profits. Don't overlook the possibility of increasing
your business efficiency with new technology. Perhaps, the
remedy for your production problems is automation, or
possibly the solution for your overwhelming internal workload
is outsourcing. It is possible to increase your productivity with
a variety of methods. Find what works for your business and
go with it. A good investment will pay for itself with increased
savings or better sales.
6.Balance Is Key
Business has the tendency to take over a person's life. If not
kept under control, it will. The most outstanding business
owners are summed up not only by their bottom line, but their
top line as well. Their business doesn't take over their life
because they keep life in balance. Due to the difficulty of keeping
a balance between one's private life and one's work, some people
find it necessary to set aside appointment time explicitly for
themselves and their families. This is a great idea! In the same
way that you'd set aside time for a business appointment,
explicitly write "sit down and relax" or "go on a walk with the
kids" in your planner--and then do it! Once you plan out your
day, you can balance out the time you have. Work and life
balance actually increases your chances for business success.

You'll be successful...
A young doctor had great plans for his medical career.
He had the image of the wonderful medical complex
he'd build. He knew precisely where he wanted to be
in a few years time.
Whenever patients came to him he took a lot of their
time telling them about his lofty plans. Word went round
about this young doctors practice. He noticed that each
new month left him with fewer patients. He had a class mate
who equally had lofty goals and dreams.
However, this classmate of his had a different strategy...
He never shared his dreams and goals with his patients.
Rather, he took great pains to make sure they are
well-catered for. His goal was simple: To ensure that
anyone who visited him once will never want to go to another
doctor for anything he could handle.
His patients were very happy ones. He noticed that each
new month his patients were increasing. He saw new faces
who told him what great distances they had to cover just
to see him. And when he made inquiries, he discovered
they were referrals from his past patients.
To cut a long story short, the first doctor quit medical
practice declaring it unprofitable while the second doctor
(the wise one) went on to achieve all his dreams.
What does this story have to do with you as a (business) person?
Simple! Life is all about people and since it is,
everything else in life is all about people - businesses,
ideas, markets, institutions, whatever.
Attend to your prospects' real needs.
Take care of them and they'll take care of you.
Just as a doctor needs patients to show how good a
doctor he is, you need high quality prequalified leads
to jump-start your business and the cheapest mode of
advertisement is also the most effective - WORD OF MOUTH
of delighted clients
Just don't forget to attend to their needs!

Being Rich is a Choice
Then why is it that so many are struggling financially?
Why is that the majority of the people are in debt?
Research shows that 80% of the individuals will never be
financially free in the way they’d like to be and 80% will
never claim to be truly happy.
Why is that? The reason is simple. Most people are living
their life by default. Every successful and wealthy person
will tell you that you have to decide to be rich and successful.
You have to make a choice that you want to live your life by
design and not by default. Your character, your thinking
and your beliefs are a critical part of what determines the
level of your success. You create the exact amount of your
financial success, so write down exactly how much money you
want to have and by which date and have a strong desire to
reach your goal. When you have this desire, you have to
believe that you can make it happen. Because if you
don’t believe you can do it, chances are you won’t.
There are different things you can do to build your belief.
One way is using by using your subconscious mind
you will achieve your goals much faster. As your subconscious
mind doesn’t know the difference between reality and thought,
you can start creating your ideal life in your mind by visualizing
it. Feel what it’s like to be rich and have abundance in your life.
See what you’re life will look like when you are financially
free.
Another great way to build your belief is to fill your
mind with inspirational stories of other people that have
succeeded. Think about Thomas Edison who decided to
invent the the electrical lamp. He had an idea and he
believed he could do it. He knew that every failure was
bringing him closer to success. When something didn’t
work he tried a different approach. At the end he said
‘I knew I had to succeed, because I ran out of things that
didn’t work’. And when a journalist asked him what it was
like to fail so many times, he answered ‘I didn’t fail the first
9,999 experiments. Inventing the electrical lamp was a
process of 10,000 steps, I just had to take each one of
them.’
Practical dreamers never quit and neither can you if
you want to be rich. Make a plan and keep adjusting it if it
doesn’t work the first time. Every failure brings you closer
to success. You have to be willing to do what it takes. Most
people think this involves only hard work, sacrificing your
health and your family life, or being dishonest, but that is not
true.
Keep in mind that your character, your thinking and
your beliefs will determine your success. If you want to be
really successful and rich, you have to focus on the person
you want to become.

Rick Warren interview
Warren, author of "Purpose Driven Life"
His wife now has cancer, and he now has "wealth"
from the book sales.
In the interview by Paul Bradshaw with Rick
Warren, Rick said:
"People ask me, "What is the purpose of life?" And
I respond: In a nutshell, life is preparation for eternity.
We were made to last forever, and God wants us to be
with Him in Heaven
One day my heart is going to stop, and that will be
the end of my body--but not the end of me.
I may live 60 to 100 years on earth, but I am going
to spend trillions of years in eternity. This is the
warm-up act - the dress rehearsal.
God wants us to practice on earth what we will do
forever in eternity. We were made by God and for
God, and until you figure that out, life isn't going to
make sense.
Life is a series of problems: Either you are in one now,
you're just coming out of one, or you're getting ready
to go into another one.
The reason for this is that God is more interested in
your character than your comfort
God is more interested in making your life holy than
He is in making your life happy.
We can be reasonably happy here on earth, but that's
not the goal of life. The goal is to grow in character, in
Christ likeness.
This past year has been the greatest year of my life
but also the toughest, with my wife, Kay, getting cancer.
I used to think that life was hills and valleys - you go
through a dark time, then you go to the mountaintop,
back and forth. I don't believe that anymore.
Rather than life being hills and valleys, I believe that
it's kind of like two rails on a railroad track, and at all
times you have something good and something bad in your life.
No matter how good things are in your life, there is
always something bad that needs to be worked on.
And no matter how bad things are in your life, there is
always something good you can thank God for.
You can focus on your purposes, or you can focus on your
problems. If
you focus on your problems, you're going into self-centeredness,
"which is my problem, my issues, my pain."
But one of the easiest ways to get rid of pain is to get your
focus off yourself and onto God and others.
We discovered quickly that in spite of the prayers of
hundreds of thousands of people, God was not going to
heal Kay or make it easy for her.
It has been very difficult for her, and yet God has
strengthened her character, given her a ministry of
helping other people, given her a testimony, drawn her
closer to Him and to people.
You have to learn to deal with both the good and the
bad of life.
Actually, sometimes learning to deal with the good
is harder. For instance, this past year, all of a sudden,
when the book sold 15 million copies, it made me
instantly very wealthy.
It also brought a lot of notoriety that I had never
had to deal with before. I don't think God gives you
money or notoriety for your own ego or for you to
live a life of ease.
So I began to ask God what He wanted me to do with
this money, notoriety and influence. He gave me two
different passages that helped me decide
what to do, II Corinthians 9 and Psalm 72.
First, in spite of all the money coming in, we would not
change our lifestyle one bit. We made no major purchases.
Second, about midway through last year, I stopped taking
a salary from the church. Third, we set up foundations to
fund an initiative we call. The Peace Plan to plant churches,
equip leaders, assist the poor, care
for the sick, and educate the next generation.
Fourth, I added up all that the church had paid me in
the 24 years since I started the church, and I gave it
all back. It was liberating to be able to serve God for free.
We need to ask ourselves: Am I going to live for possessions?
Popularity?
Am I going to be driven by pressures? Guilt? Bitterness?
Materialism? Or am I going to be driven by God's
purposes (for my life)?
When I get up in the morning, I sit on the side of my bed
and say, God, if I don't get anything else done today, I want
to know You more and love You better. God didn't put me
on earth just to fulfill a to-do list.
He's more interested in what I am than what I do. That's
why we're called human beings, Not human doings.
Happy moments, PRAISE GOD. Difficult moments,
SEEK GOD. Quiet moments, WORSHIP GOD. Painful
moments, TRUST GOD. Every moment, THANK GOD. "

Segedoo
Wanna be rich?
tried seems to work in attracting more money?
You may have made the following top 3 mistakes to
keep you from getting rich.
Check if you made the following mistakes:
1. Spend Most Of Your Time On Low Value Activities.
These activities include watching TV, chatting, playing,
checking email, washing dishes etc. Please note that
there is nothing wrong conducting all these activities, it
just depends on your priority, if your priority is to be a
millionaire, then check if most of your time is spent on
these low value / unproductive activities. Once I listened
to a talk by a millionaire, she said she just can’t afford to
clean her house, simply because her 1 hour cost her
$1000.
2. Belief Of Money Is The Root Of All Evil.
This is a myth many people have against money.
Imagine you hate money and disrespect money.
How then would you become
a money magnet?
3. Do What You Hate For Living.
There are many people who have the misconception that we
need to work hard first, make the money, then only we do what
we love. Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! The Singapore youngest
millionaire, Adam Khoo said that unless you do what you
love, you would never become rich. Take for example
Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Tiger Woods etc, they enjoy what
they do with no doubt and that’s why they become the most
successful people in their areas. Now, if you want to be rich,
ask if you do what you love for a living!

WHO IS AN ACHIEVER?
Setting goals is one of those things that only a minority
prractises but a majority of successful people engages in.
Setting goals is a lot like having a strategy or a
game plan.
It is all about reconciling ones desires with what can
reasonably be accomplished in a lifetime. When
goals are broken down into 5-year, 1-year, monthly and
daily goals they become much easier to achieve. Each
day when you wake up you can work towards those
goals in a focused manner.
How to set your goals?
1.) Know what you want: Don’t just produce a wish
list but determine what is truly important to you. For
example money might not be as important as the feeling
of accomplishment. There are many ways to feel
accomplished without necessarily earning money. If
you are going to spend the next 5 years or a lifetime
working on a goal make sure that it is important to you.
2.) Break long-term goals to tasks to daily tasks.
That way you know what needs to be accomplished in
order to move towards those more important goals and
can check off the tasks as they are accomplished. For
example, if I want to get a new job I would first have to
update my resume, and then search for companies, etc.
With just about everything there are steps.
3.) Stay committed:
If you don’t stay committed and work on these
goals every day there is a good chance you won’t
go very far. Most people fail because they give
up instead of because they are not competent.
“Thomas Edison failed thousands of times before becoming
successful”.
Finally, you can only achieve your goals by:
• Eliminating your negative thoughts and replacing
them with positive ones
• Constantly asserting and affirming your belief in your dream
• Having the Gut to take calculated Risks
• Getting rid of Low esteem - Always believe in Yourself
• Remembering that an achiever is a Believer
• Praying along

Overcoming fear
lives. All of a sudden we get so afraid and the adrenaline
pumped literally causes us to freeze and unable to think.
At other times, it isn't that bad. it's just this general
feeling of "What if it doesn't work out as expected?"
And what did you do when you feel uncertain on your
actions?
You wonder if you are going to get the results you want
from what you have done. You are afraid of the negative
consequence that may come if things go wrong. If you
encounter these similar challenges, you may want to
practice a way to organize your thoughts.
Everybody has fears. However, not many people know
how to deal with it when they are in this intense situation.
The five steps have helped me to minimize fear and
get closer to my dreams.
We all have a certain pattern of thinking process when it
comes to certain situation. Each individual has programmed
himself how to feel and what to react when a circumstance
occurs. In order to make use of the thinking process and
turn it around, we need to understand the thinking principle.
A school of thought believes that the human psyche is implanted
with fear for his survival. The Ancient man could not protect
himself against fierce and dangerous animals due to his weaker
body structure. Therefore, nature gave him fear so that he knew
it's time to escape if he faced such animals. Not only the animals
that caused fear to ancient man. All other natural dangers and
even the danger from fellow humans were also threatened us
with fear. We inherited fear and become acquainted with it in our
modern lives. But instead of fear of danger, now we fear of failure.
Fear of mental danger is more severe than the fear of physical
dangers in modern day human.
So, here are five tips that we can use to overcome fear
and turn it around to be our power. The steps include:
1 Know what you want from the action:
Set goals up on the action you decide to do. You need to
know the reason of doing it so that you have enough
motivation to overcome the fear. If you have no strong
enough reason, you will not follow through the action and
failure will be unavoidable.
2 Understand the nature of fear:
Fear will come if we are not certain of what will happen. In
order to reduce the severity of fear, we need to make the
action purpose as clear as we can. Also, we need to see
through the whole process of our actions whether there
is some risk on anything.
i remember when i was younger and was afraid of ghost
in the closet. i was told to really go and take a look at the
closet that there is no ghost inside. It is the same here.
Fear is just created in our mind according to our natural
instinct. Without fear our race may not have come this far.
In our modern time era, we may need to make full analysis
of the situation to the extent that we feel more comfortable.
This will help us to minimize the fear as we go along. Successful
people are not the ones who do not have fear, but the one who
know who to deal with it. You also can be successful if you
understand its nature.
3 Change the focus:
Do not focus on what you fear but instead focus on what
you want. This is what most humans miss. Instead
of thinking about what he wants, average human tends to
focus on what he doesn't want. Train yourself on thinking
about good things in your life.
4 Have a positive visualization:
Knowing how to visualize will help you enable to dramatically
reduce your fear. Regular visualization will also attract
favorable situation and attributes into your life according to
the law of attraction. There are also some attraction
accelerator tools in the market. You may want to utilize in to
help you get your result faster.
5 Have a feeling of gratitude:
Feel gratitude on what has brought you here. Gratitude is one
of the secrets on eliminating fear. Once you feel really grateful,
you will not have fear. Make sure that you have the right focus
when you have fear.
Do you know Bible Scholars say there are 366 Fear Nots in the
good book? That's 1 for each day and an extra 1 for a leap year!!

Thought Provoking Ideas
and how they change depends on the choices I make.
2. Action to try to make things happen is hard work, but
action taken from a place of love and pure inspiration is
living at its grandest.
3. Living from and in the moment is being mindful of
thoughts, words, feelings and actions.
4. There are infinite variations in how people see any single
event.
5. Labels like right or wrong, good or bad, evil or holy serve
to separate people, one from another. In truth, there are as
many shades of gray between those opposites of labels as
there are people.
6. The differences in life are contrast that drives decision.
7. Abundance abounds. There is enough of everything for
everyone; there is no reason to fear running out.
8. Suffering, pain or struggle is not a requirement of life.
9. Passion is not expectation, and expectation is not passion.
10. True faith comes from knowing that no matter what
things look like, all is well and will turn out for the best.

3 Secrets of Turning Failure Into Success Immediately
Most people operate with the following mental model:
they see themselves in the middle, with success on one
end and failure on the other. They do everything they
can to move toward success and away from failure. What
if, rather than seeing failure as something to be avoided it
became a "stepping-stone" on the path to success? In
other words: Success is the destination. Failure is how
you get there. To achieve significant success in today's
world, failure is not just a possibility... it is a requirement.
2 Intentionally increase your failure rate.
If it's true that the more we fail, the more we succeed, then
the immediate goal should be to intentionally increase your
failure rate! Yes, this is a counter-intuitive, reverse thinking
philosophy... but it works! Intentionally increasing failure is
the basis for the "Go for No" concept. "Go for No" means the
more people that tell you "no" the closer you will get to
ultimate success - or in other words, "yes." Most people, if
they actually counted the number of times they hear "no"
during a typical day or week would be shocked to see how
low the number actually is.
3 Set "No" goalsEveryone sets success goals; few people set
"no" goals.
And that is what we suggest. But how about setting
goals for the number of times we fail? For example, rather than a
salesperson setting the goal of having 2 prospects say "yes" to
them, they set the goal of being turned down10 times. Imagine
the first two prospects they called on said, "Yes!" Rather than being
done (having hit their "yes" goal) they'd actually be behind because
they still have 10 noes to go!

Living Life to the Fullest 1
If you treasure the beauty
that shows all around you
and try to add some of your own,
Enjoy the companionship
others can give you,
yet value your moments alone…
If you honor opinions
that differ from yours,
yet stand up for what you believe,
Admire the accomplishments
others have made,
and take pride in what you can achieve…
If you love those around you
and love yourself, too,
if your spirit is eager and free…
Then you know what it means
to live life to the fullest
and be the best "you" you can be.
The challenge we all have today is finding time to live!
*Well, anyone reading this article is alive, obviously.
*But do you feel alive?
*Do you feel like you are living and enjoying life?
*Are you numbed by job stress or high demands of an
over-booked schedule, seldom having time to enjoy
some of life’s simple pleasures?
If you belong to this category, I would like to
recommend a change. It’s called “live in the moment”.
Take time to smell the roses, look at the sunset, sit for a
minute andlisten carefully to the sounds around you. Hold
hands with someone. We all know the concept. But, I’d bet
thatyou are just like me and have spent time cheating
yourself out of those precious moments.
I’m sure you will all agree with me, that life is too short.
So, take advantage of every given moment. Give yourself
the gift of “living life to the fullest.”
For me I decided to do these and i'm finding life more lovely:
Begin each day with gratitude.
Sit quietly for a few minutes and notice the beauty of
the day.
Hear the sounds of the morning.
Be aware of everything you are experiencing.
See what new things you can discover in your daily routine.
Discover wonderful new sights, sounds, tastes and
sensations where you’ve been everyday and just too busy
to notice.
Do something I’ve always wanted to do, but have never
taken the time to do before.
Share these joyful moments with a loved one or a friend.
Smile and laugh. They are cherished by everyone, so is
companionship.
Be in the moment.
Enjoy that moment.
Once you have treated yourself to this new exercises too,
you will begin your journey to living life to the fullest!

Avoiding The Minus People
Have you noticed how easy it is to destroy than to
build, be negative than be positive, be reactive than
proactive? Since it is such a “negative” world out
there, the last thing you need is hanging around the
“Minus People”. This is because as their name depicts,
they always deduct from you and most of the time they
do so unknowingly and sincerely! There are basically
two categories:
Group 1
The first are people who have a toxic effect on anyone
that they come in contact with and since you need no
special training to be a Minus person, their contagious
mindset affects you easily. They have a tendency to
increase the entropy of their environment.
Minuses are not only people with pessimistic opinions that we
come in contact with. They can also be what we listen to,
watch or feed into our minds from literature. Most of the news
networks are good examples. Proverbs say to guard our
hearts with all diligence for out it are the issues of life and
that we speak from the abundance of our hearts. Our eyes
and ears especially are the gateways to our hearts and it is
wisdom to filter what we allow in via these entrances.
Now back to the first category of minus people.
Here are some pointers to these folks:
* They see the world as one big problem and in their
eyes you are included!
*They are pros when it comes to identifying little
problems no matter how well things are going.
*You come up with a great idea and they give you 10
reasons why it won’t and can’t work and they say it
with such cynicism.
*Usually, correcting their mindset takes time and
effort.
So for now, considering that you are on a journey
called success;the best thing to do is to run away from
them as fast as you as far as you can. Proverbs says to
walk with the wise. If you do, you become wise. A
companion of fools will be destroyed. Generally, you
become like those you spend time with - at no extra
cost.
Group 2
The second group consists of those that do not say
harmful things but neither do they say things that
benefit you or energize your emotions towards doing
things of worth. This group is deadlier simply because
they are “harmless”.
Do you have such people in your life?
If you are not sure, here’s how you can spot them:
*They usually take a lot of your time and energy and
after a couple of hours together you wonder why time
has passed so quickly and even wonder more why you
have not derived anything in beneficial from your time
together.
*They talk about everything else except those
things that are profitable or of value.
* If you ask what they have been up to lately, they
“nothing much” or I just dey or something implying they
have really not been progressing in life.
*They have no enthusiasm and take each day as it comes.
I’m sure examples of such people are springing up in your
mind right now. The amazing thing is that you enjoy the
unfruitful time together and this is why I said they are even
more dangerous. This group eats away only your time and
they are also unproductive in their own lives too.
A simple way of avoiding this people is to say you’ve got
something important to do after exchanging pleasantries
and leave immediately.
The truth is time passes so it is now left for us to either
maximize the time on our hands doing purposeful things or
just let it slip away.
In avoiding minuses, there are no rooms for sentiment!
Immediately you realize that someone is one of the Minus
people – whether friend or family, you flee. Simple, uh?
In reality, it is easier said than done because the people
we love the most oftentimes belong to this group. To avoid
minus people, we must realize we have a choice. We decide
what we want in our lives knowing fully well that indecision
is simply a decision to do nothing about a situation. Once you
see that someone is negative in his outlook to everything,
make up your mind to part ways with the person. By doing
this, you do your future a huge favor.

What makes a "great thinker?"
Are We Born To Be Great Thinkers?
What makes a "great thinker?" A high I.Q.? A
university education? Are we born to be great thinkers,
or do we learn it? Actually, anyone can be a great
thinker. Sure, some of history's so-called "thinkers"
had genius-level I.Q. and schooling, but most were
normal people who needed or wanted to find solutions
to everyday questions.
Key to Great Thoughts
The key to discovery of great thoughts lies in one
word:
PERMISSION.
Give yourself permission to think "outside the box."
Daydream. Fantasize. Doodle. Meditate. And never
think your ideas are dumb or worthless!
Many of the world's greatest thinkers were laughed
at. But imagine what our world if people like Philo T.
Farnsworth, a farm boy from Idaho, hadn't dreamed up
television.
• Who do you know that you think is a great thinker?
• Who always has amazing ideas?
• Who comes up with solutions to problems no one
else thinks of?
Next time you see them, ask them how they do it.As from
the next posts, i will begin a series on some Great Thinkers
to inspire us- some famous, some not. All of them have two
things in common:
They started life with huge challenges - lack of education,
problems at home, poverty - and they all overcame life's
challenges by giving themselves permission to dream.
This is a series on some great thinkers that have shaped
our world. I hope we’ll all be motivated to emulate them.

Visions come in the process of deep thinking or
meditating
Perception – seeing what is now with the eye of
reality
Probability – seeing what will be with the eye of

Possibility – seeing what can be with the eye of

I see what I am prepared to see
What I see is what I can be
What I see is what I get
We all live under the same sky but we do not all
have the same horizon.
Different ways of THINKING
According to Leadership expert and author John C.
Maxwell, these are the different types of thinking:
Big Picture thinking
Focused thinking
Creative thinking
Realistic thinking
Strategic thinking
Possibility thinking
Reflective thinking
Unpopular thinking
Shared thinking
Unselfish thinking
Bottom-Line thinking
Improving my thinking impacts my beliefs which

changes my behavior which improves my performance
and that will change my life.

From 'Poor' to 'RICH'! 3
By now you should begin to realize that this is a life
or death battle in the fight for your personal financial
and time FREEDOM.
It takes courage and it requires strength to win this
fight. If you're an employee you've given up your
choices... someone tells you how much you make, when
you go home, if you get sacked (downsized) etc.
You are fighting to be in control of your own choices.
Think about it this way, your boss or your supervisor is
a bully telling you how to run your life.
And, the more security you "need", the less freedom
you have. I hate to be blunt, but if you are needy, you
are weak. And if you're weak, you won't have the
strength nor the courage to win the fight for your freedom.
We already discussed how FEAR is the main reason why
more people don't start their own businesses.
I challenge you to get the courage to not care about what
others think. To gain the mental and emotional toughness
to withstand the world of 'big business'. You must learn
how to make the yourself stronger.
If you want to be succesful today, you have to develop
the mental, emotional, and core toughness and get the
necessary education for running a 'big business'.
You deserve your freedom, that's one of the things being
rich is about. Fight for your rights and stand up for
yourself. Don't let others decide your choices or your
lifestyle for you.
Finally,
Please surround yourself with friends and
family who want you to become rich and above all,
adopt a positive attitude towards money... and get
educated about how to grow your business.
If you want to be rich, "MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS".
Stop asking for permission and take control of your life
... You really do need to get stronger today!

"Build A Business"
This IS the Secret! We all ready for total financial
freedom... I hope? Well, if you are, you must build your
own business in order to achieve it.
A huge majority of people want to start their own
business. Sadly, few ever do.
The Reasons: Most people can't afford to invest 5-10
years for their business to become successful... Or they
can't afford the amount of money it takes to build a
business.
I was reading about businesses and how they fare in their
first few years, the statistics are frightening... this fact is
verified by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA):
50% of small businesses fail in their first year and...
95% of small businesses fail within their first 5 years.
Above all, people have a fear of failure and this is why
most people don't start a business for themselves.
Instead, they go for "job security" and play it safe.
WAKE UP RIGHT NOW... "Job Security" is a JOKE!
You are well aware of the massive uncertainties such as
companylayoffs that are happening today. Why would
anyone commit so much of their time to working on
something they have NO control over? To me, that is
most risky!
The truth of the matter is that you don't own
your JOB,it owns you. You'd have to agree that
working a JOB (or a career) is like a form of
slavery.
WHY?!?
You don't have control over how much money you
can earn
Or what time you have to wake up every
morning
Or where you have to be each day
Or what you have to do while you are there
Or what time you can get off... The listis almost endless
By knowing this information, you can learn how to
regain control of your life, your time, and your salary.
Something else you should consider is your retirement. Are you making concrete plan for live after
your outhful life at your regular job?
Today, most importantly, you want to own your own
business to get your dignity back and take back control
of your own life.
WARNING...
Don't start a business that "owns" you either. This is a
death trap too. If you are a sole-practitioner, you've
basically created a business that controls you and not
one that you control.
Remember, you are striving for TOTAL Financial and
Time Freedom and if you have a small business that
requires 110% of your time and energy, this is no better
than having a JOB!
Let's face another harsh reality that when you trade your
time for a salary, you are nothing more than a 'slave to
the clock' and you will never become wealthy.
I'm not advocating that you quit you job. You need some
steady income to fall back on while you grow your business.
Though it is better to get a low payiing job that affords you
time to do your own thing than a business that pays well and
takes your whole day.
If you are in a business that takes all of your time then have
a 3-5 year plan to exit the place. Begin to sensitize your self
and get ready. Refer to immediate past post on how.
I hope i have been able to convince you to start planning
to take charge of your life.

From 'Poor' to 'RICH'!
ago and i think you should too.
...Your mindset
To become wealthy, you have to think like the rich
think.
Adopt 'rich values' and have a positive attitude
towards money.
You deserve to be financially free and to have as
much money as you need to live the life of your dreams.
You need to get educated about how to create multiple
streams of income for yourself.
Start by...
Eliminating 'poor values' which is thinking like an
employee or a small business owner.
Employees wait to be told what to do and they expect
everyone to 'take care of them' (ie: their company, their
boss, their union, the government, etc).
Thinking like an employee keeps you very 'weak'
minded and 'needy'.
Small business owners very rarely become wealthy
because they think they have to do it all by themselves.
This is because of their philosophy. They believe,
"If you want it done right... you got to do
it yourself."
That's why they start their small business so they
can have some level of control and dignity over their
life. Sadly, thinking this way has massive limitations
for your financial growth potential.
LOOK! If you remember only one thing from this
article, remember this...
The richest people in the world build networks...
(ie: 'TV networks', 'Telephone networks', 'Computer
networks', etc.) and everyone else looks for work.
Money doesn't make you rich -- business skills do.
You can always use business skills to make as much
money as you need or want.
If you believe you need 'job security' or you need to
'play it safe' and don't take risks, then you are falling
prey to FEAR.
You will never become wealthy working for someone
else because you cannot have Job Security and
Financial Freedom... You must choose... which is more
important to you?
If you desire financial freedom, then start by learning
how to control your fear. Everyone of us has a 'little
coward' inside of them and a 'courageous person'. Gain
control over your fear and don't let the coward win - let
the courageous person win!
LISTEN... Building A Business makes you rich. "If you
want to be rich, MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!"
I suggest that we learn about building a business even as
we go about our jobs and businesses or whatever it is we
legitimately do for a living.
How?
Plan to start a business.
Save some money to start.
Research some small businesses you like.
Buy books on running your own business.
Read them (A lot of people buy books and don't
read them!!!)
Learn about cashflow - you can be profitable and still
go bankrupt.(it happened to me in 2004!)
Start a small business. Think BIG. Nurture it BIG.
Register your business.
Share your vision with people
Get partners.
Hire people to help you.
Treat them well.
Have something you can live on while you nurture
your business.
Get a business mentor.(Someone who does business and
is succeeding in it)
Learn about the legal aspects. (Ask your students that are
studying law. They'll give you free advice!!)
Be diligent.
Use Leverage. Leverage is everywhere.
Keep your books - hire an accounting student to help you.
(This is one of the wisest things you can do. It favours you when
you want to get a bank loan)

Applying critical thinking techniques
complicated situations aware of his or her thoughts,
beliefs, and viewpoints. Then, he or she can direct
those thoughts, beliefs, and viewpoints to be more
rational and accurate. A critical thinker is willing to
explore, question, and search out answers and
solutions.
Attributes of Critical thinking
Generally, critical thinking includes the ability to:
Make observations
Be curious, asking relevant questions and finding
the resources you need
Challenge and examine beliefs, assumptions, and
opinions against facts
Recognize and define problems
Assess the validity of statements and arguments
Make wise decisions and find valid solutions
Understand logic and logical argument
Some of us are already competent in some of these areas.
Or, there is the need to learn or improve on all of them.
We all face problems every day. Some are simple,
requiring a short period of time to solve, others are
complex, and demand much of your time and thought.
Once you recognize the problem, you will want to
prioritize—does your problem demand immediate
attention, or can it wait until you are finished working
on something else?
It amazes me when I remember how I used to jump
from something important to something else that is so
unimportant for no reason all of a sudden. If you have
more than one situation to resolve, you must rank them
in order of importance, tackling the most important first.
What Is a Problem?
A problem is defined as a question or situation that calls
for a solution.
That means when you are faced with a problem, you
must take action or make decisions that will lead to
resolution of that problem. Using this definition,
problems that occur in the form of a question are
typically those that do not have one straightforward
answer. Situational problems require thinking critically
and making decisions about the best course of action.
For example, I learn that a man has been
cheating on his wife and they are both my friends
—Do I blow the whistle, jeopardizing our friendship and
possibly breaking up a home? If so, how? or do i keep
quiet and let the promiscuity continue?
Road Block to Recognizing a Problem
One of the most common reasons for not recognizing
a problem is the desire to avoid taking action or
responsibility. The thinking is “no recognition means
no responsibility”. Realize that by not recognizing the
problem, you make the solution more difficult. The
initial problem could grow larger and more complex
with time, or by waiting you could create multiple
problems that need solutions. The failure to recognize
a problem almost always creates more work for you.
Types of Problems
Once you recognize that a problem exists, but before
you begin to solve it, you should determine the type of
problem as it relates to a timeframe and your personal
priorities. There are two criteria to use in your
determination: severity and importance.
Severe Problems
These problems may be identified by the following
characteristics:
Require immediate solutions
May call for the involvement of others who have
more expertise than you
Result in increasingly drastic consequences the
longer they remain unsolved
For example, ahole in your house’s soakawayis a
severe problem. Foul odour will continue until the
hole is sealed. The odour can make the surroundings
unbearable to live in and flies might start moving from
there into the building. Neighbours would start to
complain. Unless you are a bricklayer, you will need to
call a professional to solve the problem immediately.
Delays can result in a larger hole, more contaminated air
and also costly soakaway damage repairs. You might even
need to replace soakaway top or other items if the hole is
not sealed quickly.
Some minor problems can become severe if not
solved immediately. For example, a small fire on the
field that is difficult to put out may take a great deal of
time and effort to extinguish. But if it is not put out, it
could start a major forest fire (severe problem).
Important Problems
The word important is relative like everything else.
Problems are viewed as important or unimportant in
relation to one another, and according to personal
priorities. When faced with a number of problems,
evaluate them in terms of priority so that you are not
dealing with minor issues first, and leaving the more
important ones to go unattended until the last minute.
Prioritizing means looking at each problem or issue, and
ranking it in terms of importance. What is most important
to you as you begin the thinking process?
When you recognize that you are faced with a problem,
you also recognize the need for action on your part. But
that action depends on the type of issue you are facing.
Is the problem severe? If there is more than one problem,
which should be tackled first? Use your thinking skills to
pinpoint any problem or problems before you begin to
anticipate a solution.
Here are some things I do:
■ When I need to make a TO DO list, I rank the items on
my list. You might list them in order of what takes the
most or least time. Or perhaps list them in order of when
they have to be done. You might have your own order of
importance in which to list items. For practice, try ordering
them in each of the different methods listed above.
■ Test your skill of problem recognition when watching the
evening news. After you hear a story, list three problems that
will probably occur as a result.

TIRED
MAN:
I’m tired of trying to be a better person but repeating
same mistakes.
I’m tired of sowing and waiting for a harvest that seems
to forever tarry.
I’m tired of trying to start businesses and getting my
progress stopped.
I’m tired of chasing my dreams while it seems to be
distancing itself from me.
I’m tired of confessing and working the word to no avail.
I’m tired of believing for a change in vain.
I’m tired of finding it hard to get over my mistakes.
I’m tired of tired of trying to get things the right
way when I can seemingly get those things via
“easier” means
I’m tired of not being where I ought to be.
I’m tired of having far less than I rightfully deserve
as a result of Jesus’ death.
I’m tired, tired, tired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
O God help me my faith is thinning out.
GOD:
Life is in phases and men face different challenges.
Know that every phase is “coming to pass”.
The lessons of your trials make you better equipped
for your future and encourege others to forge ahead.
WISDOM FOR THIS AGE
• Don’t waste people’s time.
• Don’t disappoint people.
• Don’t give your word if you are uncertain.
• Have few long term friends - No thinking man
keeps friends forever except they are like-thinkers.
• A life of solitude helps one focus on the journey to
success and riches BUT network with others to
achieve it more easily.
• Build passive and portfolio income.
• To succeed in this digital age, you must read.
• To succeed in this digital age, you must write.
• To succeed in this digital age, you must speak.
• Talk to the right people.
• Letter writing is a great weapon.
• It takes 90 days to become a millionaire.

Observations about the rich
- The rich have a wealth mindset.
- The rich rule over the poor.
- The rich are usually in control.
- The rich by assets.
- The rich employ the poor to get richer.
- The rich never pay you what you are worth.
- The rich can afford life’s luxuries.
- The rich are protected.
- The rich pay less tax.
- The rich get richer.
- The rich usually have influence.
- The rich do not do the functional work.
- The rich know why – others know how.
- The rich know themselves.
Question: Why don't we all learn how the rich got rich
and apply their principles ?
Just thinking…
You don’t ease pressure by letting everyone know
you are under it.
Everyone wants to be #1. I’d rather be the
indispensable #2 who can do without #1. Then you
tell me who #1 really is?
It is pretty obvious that a lot of people do not realize
that what you do not feed dies.
There is a general mediocrity in our society. Stand
above it and you’ll seem larger than life.

Lessons learnt from Fela Durotoye
Be more loyal to your future than to your past.
What I have is what I have accepted.
Failure + Explanation ≠ Success
...on life
Life does not give me what I deserve but what
I desire and determine to have i.e. what I demand.
Historical events do not foretell the future. They
only impact it. My background should not keep my
back on the ground.
Everything I desire in life requires discovery, dreaming,
determination and doggedness.
...on excuses
I don’t have an excuse. Excuses are the explanations
of failure but the truth is even if the excuses are not
there, the failure would still have occurred. The
explanations of success are called keys. Nobody is
impressed with excuses. People will only pay to know
how it was done.
... on the future
The future I do not actively create will surprise me.
My future must happen. It is either I make it happen
or I watch it happen. Nothing is at a standstill. Change
is happening so fast that it looks like a constant. As long
as I am breathing, my future has not come.
The universal laws of God
These laws deliver results regardless of who abides
by them. God is not mocked. Whatever a man sows,
he reaps in time.
It’s either you make things happen or watch things
happen or wonder what’s happening!!
Be desperate for whatever you desire.
Here they are:
1. Determine what you want. It must be known and
clear to you. You can start by knowing what you don’t
want from life.
2. Make sure what you want is something you want
no less of.
3. discover the universal laws that naturally produce
your desired result.
4. Understand how the laws function and what they
require e.g. prosperity responds only to the seeds of
prosperity. Everything in life is a seed that produces
an harvest.
5. Give the law all what it requires and no less.
The law of harvest is made up of:
- The law of sowing
- The law of watering
- The law of pruning
- The law of weeding
There is no one all encompassing law. It is usually a
combo of laws.
7. Master the art of consistency.
Breakthrough ≠ prosperity
Breakthrough is an occurrence. Prosperity is a lifestyle.
My desires must be people-driven
...on packaging myself
I have got to look like a bestseller. At the entrance of my
future, dress code admits. It takes a kind of mentality to
wear a pocket square. You behave what you believe. Be
dressed for where you are going. Great packaging
enhances value. I am the CEO of a company by my name.
Let your content be rock solid and let your presentation
be waoh!

Thank God Nigerians are not Suicide bombers!
sacrifice his life for any unreasonable cause. The
recent attempt to blow up the national headquarters
of the INEC (Independent National Electoral
Commission) office in Abuja, Nigeria was aborted due
to this reason.
A 33000 litre gas tanker was loaded with
fuel and Gas cylinders was driven to a slope opposite the
INEC office and allowed to roll down but instead of a
driver at the steering wheel, a stone was placed on the
throttle. The tanker as stopped by electric poles and the

Scenario Thinking
Thinking is a process for developing stories
of the future and using them, once developed, to
inform strategy. After the process itself is internalized,
scenario thinking becomes, for many practitioners,
a posture—a routine way of managing change and a
way of exploring the future so that you might greet it
better prepared.
To me, scenario thinking is just creating every possible
event that can occur, finding alternative counter
measures for each and then including these possibilities in
strategy formulation. This way you can be sure you are
prepared for any eventuality and that means a good
night sleep.
Creating scenarios is best done with a team. Every
consequence of each is weighed and it is evaluated
in the light of resources and objectives to be achieved.
After trashing out these, the overall game plan can be
executed.
What Are Scenarios?
Scenarios are stories
Scenarios are maps of the future
Scenarios are mental maps
Scenarios are mental models
Scenarios are narratives
Scenarios are pictures
Scenarios are models
Scenarios are sets of indicators
Scenarios are tools
Scenarios are art
Scenarios according to the experts
Scenarios are the powerful vehicles for challenging
our mental models about the world. - Peter Schwartz
Scenarios are a tool for helping us to take a long view
in a world of great uncertainty. - Peter Schwartz
Scenarios are stories about the way the world might
turn out tomorrow, stories that can help us recognize
and adapt to changing aspects of our present
environment. - Peter Schwartz.
Scenarios are attempts to describe in some detail a
hypotethical sequence of events that could lead
plausibly to the situation envisaged. - Herman Kahn
Scenario is a tool for ordering one´s perceptions about
alternative future environments in which one´s
decisions might be playede out. - Peter Schwartz
Scenario is a set of organized ways for us to dream
effectively about our future. - Peter Schwartz
Scenario Planning
Scenario planning is about making choices today with
an understanding of how they might turn out.
- Peter Schwartz
Scenarios liberated planning from the traditional predict
and control approach. They are not accurate forecasts,
they are, as Kahn said, thinking tools. - Kees van der Heijden
Steps to Developing Scenarios
The Peter Schwartz Method
Step One: Identify Focal Issue or Decision
Step Two: Key Forces in the Local Environment
Step Three: Driving Forces
Step Four: Rank by Importance and Uncertainty
Step Five: Selecting Scenario Logic
Step Six: Fleshing Out the Scenarios
Step Seven: Implication
Step Eight: Selection of Leading Indicators and
Signposts

Thoughts on greatness, desire, money and how to be rich
Greatness is not an occasion. It is a life style
inculcated by being responsible. A lot of us shy
away from being responsible, ignorant of the fact
thatwe indirectly flee from being great for
responsibility is the price of greatness.
Be responsible for who you are
Be responsible for what you do
Be responsible for what you have received
Be responsible to those you lead
Life is not a gift – it is an investment from which
the investor expects great returns. You can't afford
to live it anyhow.
DESIRE
Potential needs purpose to give it direction. Desire
is “craving enough to sacrifice for”. It’s only we are
willing to die for what we desire, that we’ll receive it.
Only what you desire when you pray, not what you
pray for – is what you shall have.
Desire for a thing keeps you on the road of consistency.
Prepare Prayerfully
Plan Purposefully
Proceed Positively
Pursue Persistently
"Potential needs desire to place demands on it."
-Dr. Myles Munroe
MONEY
Money flows that’s why it’s called Currency and it flows in
the direction of value. Value is something you have that is
desirable to someone else. The more valuable a thing
becomes the more money it costs.
Value is directly proportional to the needs the product meets.
Value changes depending on circumstances and individuals.
When you say there’s no money, your mind and invariably
your eyes close to opportunities.
Ways to make money
1. Offer a valuable product or service. Don’t let your
emotions think for you. Ideas that are implemented
rule the world.
2. Research the customers’ needs and the likely changes
they would like to see in the products or services.
3. Increase the value and quantity of your product. Adapt
it to the ever changing needs of the customer. The
greatest millionaires are servants of their clients.
4. Work on perception and image. Work on the share of
your customer’s mind. Image is important. Present
yourself in a prestigious form.
5. Repetition is a law of lasting impression and
advertising is basically all about repetition.
HOW TO BE RICH: Being a solution (Personalized)
If I want to be relevant in this life, I have got to be a
solution. It may be to someone’s problems, or an
organization’s or a nation’s or even to better still to the
world’s problems. The fun thing is the bigger the number
of people whose problems I can provide a solution to the
quicker I get to being relevant.
The age old tips to being a solution are:
Finding a problem and solving it
Finding a need and meeting it
Finding a desire and filling it
Finding a hurt and healing it
To be able to proffer a solution to people’s problems,
needs, desires or hurts, I have to discover what
these problems, needs, desires or hurts are. This can
be done easily by asking them or figuring out what
they might need to solve these problems, meet these
needs, fulfill these desires or heal these hurts. (The
management jargon used for this is market research).
The next step then is to think of what products or services
needed and create or provide them to achieve these ends.

Thinking
In some sort of random disorder
It requires direction, intention,
And a process of development
I think in order to solve problems
With the knowledge I have acquired
Thinking is a dialogue I have with myself.
A silent deliberation - with the intent to act.
Sometimes I think with my mind,
Sometimes I think with my heart.
With the mind, it is analytical, objective and factual
With the heart, it is vast, intuitive, and emotional.
Thinking is something that I choose to do.
It requires motive and effort.
I think because I want to understand
And when I understand I intend to act
To think is to differ
I must remember to trust myself,
My feelings, my inspirations
For they want me to listen to them.
They want to guide me forward.
It takes practice. It takes trust.
It takes time to develop and mature my thinking.
And as I do, my being matures also
My being - the essence of my core self
Though must develop the will to act,
Like the few great thinkers that have acted to
change our world.

The Good Citizen
Dear Nigerian,
I salute your courage and faith for enduring the
times till date. Things will only get better.
Tomorrow and next Saturday will be determining
the destiny this sleeping GIANT of a country
– our beloved Nigeria.
Please ensure you exercise your civic rights and vote.
Choose a leader you are convinced is right first in
tomorrow’s gubernatorial election and in the coming
presidential election.
The Federal government has said no movement
tomorrow so go to the polls, cast your votes and
go back home. I think that is really simple.
Do not let any individual or group influence your votes.
They say your vote is your power so please go and vote.
(when I thought of this saying I realized it’s only true
when votes are not tampered with)
GOD BLESS NIGERIA!!!!!
